จำนวนเที่ยวรถที่เข้ามาในจังหวัด จำแนกตามหมวดรถ หมวด 1 หมายถึง เส้นทางการขนส่งประจำทางด้วยรถโดยสารภายในเขต กรุงเทพมหานคร เทศบาล สุขาภิบาล เมือง และเส้นทางต่อเนื่อง หมวด 2 หมายถึง เส้นทางการขนส่งประจำทางด้วยรถโดยสารซึ่งมีจุดเริ่มต้นจาก กรุงเทพมหานครไปยังส่วนภูมิภาค หมวด 3 หมายถึง เส้นทางการขนส่งประจำทางด้วยรถโดยสารซึ่งมีเส้นทางระหว่าง จังหวัด หรือคาบเกี่ยวระหว่างเขตจังหวัดในส่วนภูมิภาค หมวด 4 หมายถึง เส้นทางการขนส่งประจำทางด้วยรถโดยสารซึ่งอาจประกอบด้วย เส้นทางสายหลักสายเดียว หรือเส้นทางสายหลักและเส้นทางสายย่อยซึ่งแยกออกจากเส้นทางสายหลักไปยัง อำเภอ หมู่บ้าน หรือเขตชุมชน
